About SVG Logos

SVG Logos holds 1,400+ brand logos in SVG, full logotypes and icon-only marks, most brands with both. Finding a clean vector of a logo you already recognize should not cost you twenty minutes, so I optimize each file by hand: duplicated paths out, grouping flattened, empty defs dropped. It’s free and takes no signup.

Origins

I pushed the first commit on 11 June 2015 under the name Front-End Logos: Angular, Bower, Browserify, Gulp, the vectors a front-end developer reached for every day. The scope widened within weeks, so I renamed it SVG Logos. It lived at svgporn.com for a decade, then moved to svglogos.dev in 2026. I still curate the same collection alone, eleven years in.

Timeline

  1. June 2015

    I pushed the first commit under the name Front-End Logos, a flat folder of vectors for front-end tooling embedded straight into the README.

  2. June 2015

    I renamed it SVG Logos two weeks later, once the collection outgrew front-end tooling.

  3. July 2015

    I put svgporn.com up as the browsable front-end for the repo.

  4. July 2015

    I wrote the “Tips for SVGs” notes into the README: convert borders to paths, join paths into one. I have not touched them since.

  5. December 2020

    I settled on the scope it still has, a curated set of logos for developers, DevOps and geeks.

  6. 2026

    I moved everything to svglogos.dev and now serve the files from cdn.svglogos.dev.

Today the collection runs to 1,400+ logos and I keep adding.

Adding logos

I optimize each file by hand, so I don’t take pull requests that add logos. The published branch is generated, and anything you commit to it gets erased. Open a GitHub issue instead, with a link to the vector file.

I release the collection under CC0 1.0 Universal. All logos on the site are the property of their respective owners.
